A fun game to watch. Wouldn't it be delightful if both head coaches were ejected for multiple technicals?

WVU's guards have to win against Ku's in order for the eers to pull the upset. J's have the advantage down low with Ellis. I'm not sure WVV has the fire power to compete in a high scoring game. But if they keep it in the 70's, WVU wins. With them, it's always about how the refs call the game, 40 fouls or 80? If the number is low, WVU likely wins. Huggs is coaching a team, the only one in this league, with enough depth to compete with Self's bench, which is the best in college basketball. So for me, this game is a toss up but only because it's played in Morgantown. Ku doesn't lose in Lawrence.

I think WVU wins this game in a close match as they always play KU tough in Morgantown. Really don't think WVU turns KU over that much as KU's guards are solid and haven't turned the ball over that much this year. A lot will depend on how the officials ref the game. Think it will be a good up and down game with Huggins getting his incentive again this year.

I always wonder if Huggy's guys stop fouling after a while or the refs get a headache from blowing the whistle that many times, so they stop calling them.

I think they basically know the refs can't/won't call all of them

Perry Ellis was the only KU player that showed up and competed last night. Frustrated by the effort but not the result. I had this as a loss on the schedule before the start of the season so I don't see this changing my opinion of how the year plays out. Good game by West Virginia. Bad game by KU. On to the next one.

What I forecast before the game. Final score 74-63. I didn't watch because the Cats were playing Tech at the time.
