Variety, being outside sometimes and inside at a desk sometimes. Don't think I'd want to be 100% either way.
Pros:
-Lots of vacation: I've been there 8 years and get 6 weeks of vacation/year.
-Good pay
-Performance bonus: 10% of pay (with additional money if our sister companies make their numbers.
-Able to work from home when needed.
-No need to use time off for half-days
Cons:
-Some clients are crazy.
-Being the main client contact means that everything that anyone screws up on my company is always my fault.

I'm jealous. I travel roughly every other month for my job, but my only destinations are Louisville, KY, Reno, NV, and New Jersey. Hardly the Hawaiian islands. I used to have a client in San Diego and one in Boston and those were my only enjoyable trips.
oh well when you say that, its just traveling within the state so not that cool

I grew up in an island and do miss island living. Seeing the ocean from the mountains is one of the best feelings in life.
Yeah, but not the outer islands. Those trips can add up quick if you're paying on your own.
My company vending machines have everything for a quarter. Chips, soda, candy, etc. All 25 cents

I get to go to work. We have a bonus system that could get us up to 7.5% but the last few years we have only recieved 3% or less before taxes.
Setting my own schedule. If I feel like arranging my week so that I can golf on one or two afternoons, I can do that. Unfortunately, I have enough to do that I only golfed three times this year :sad:
