this person, who was in the country illegally, was never here.
She also may not have died if the guy wasn't hired to work around here for years, but nobody is charging his employer as an accomplice.

Report said 380th street. Is that in town?
You deserve zero flaming today. This is a safe statement but it’s pretty obvious what the situation likely is. The guy wasn’t stalking her for financial advice...I'm sorry for doing this and I understand if I get flamed for it, but I'm not going to post that. I think you can imply what that means.
This is literally no different than the police shooting headlines, we know the race of the officer and victim by just reading the headline. You never read "Black officer shoots suspect". If its a white officer, white is in the headlines despite most evidence proving that race of the officer plays no role in police shootings. Cops, regardless of their race shoot people at the same rates. It's a problem with the police, not white police but that doesn't stop the narrative the media creates.
I'm looking at the tweet from Laura Terrell from KCCI that says "this encounter happened at 385 St. downtown Brooklyn." Perhaps a typo...?
I mean, you could argue that she would still be alive if this person, who was in the country illegally, was never here. That's why it matters.
I would imagine yes if he raped her before killing her. Coroner report will make it clear if that's what happened.I'm kind of confused by the 1st degree murder charge. That implies it was premeditated. With him running up beside her and then snapping when she says to leave her alone is that really premeditated?
What difference does that make? She's still dead. Doesn't matter if her killer was illegal or not.
This is an issue of murder, not illegal immigration. I'm sure she's thrilled to see that her dead body will be and currently is being used as a political weapon (and that trend will grow).
This will serve as a great cover headline for the Cohen and Manafort news, too. Bet on it.
Surprised he stayed in the area.
While I agree in principle, I see one crucial difference here: as you said, this is a problem with police forces in general, not sorted by race. I agree. That problem is present. This is literally no different than the police shooting headlines, we know the race of the officer and victim by just reading the headline. You never read "Black officer shoots suspect". If its a white officer, white is in the headlines despite most evidence proving that race of the officer plays no role in police shootings. Sure, it's okay when others do it, but not when I call them out for it. Got it, thanks for the input.I find it reprehensible and pathetic that you are projecting your politics onto her saying what she would be sarcastically thrilled about. You, sir, are certainly a pot calling the kettle black.
Let's remember that EVERYBODY first focused on a local pig farmer who was creepy and known to her. And, statistically, the numbers are overwhelming that the victim knows their killer. So, yes, an argument "could" be made in this one instance; however, it's a very thin, silly one when you look at abductions/killings/etc. Statistically, one should be far more frightened of the weird white guy next door...

Did she know the pig farmer?
And here we goI'll go with the term used by the DCI. Illegal immigrant.
Interesting they aren't naming the employer. Brooklyn, Iowa. Gee, let me think who is the largest employer. That could be Manatt's a huge Republican contributor. Will Kim or Donald let that be known.
Your post will probably be deleted for being political, but I am more concerned because they are big ISU backers.Interesting they aren't naming the employer. Brooklyn, Iowa. Somebody who claimed to know told me earlier today (before his name was released) that it was an undocumented immigrant that worked on a nearby dairy farm.Just had a bad thought, Manatts is headquartered in Brooklyn...and I sure hope that the suspect was not employed by Manatt's.
