Thomson gets front headlocked but fights out of it without giving up back points. Down 2-1 early.

Nice 7-6 win for Cameron Thomson. That was close at the end there but no points awarded. ISU up 27-0 with three matches left.

Weatherspoon out there at 184. Kind of surprised we didn't send out Seth Esaias. Maybe he didn't weigh in.

Weatherspoon up 6-2 after the first period. He's going to be a good guy for us the next few years. I wonder if it'll be him or Tanner who ends up going 184 once Beard graduates.

Lelund up 14-2 after the second period. Total domination. He'll get a much better match against WVU.

Quinn Wilson gives no ****s about being a backup. Gets a pin a few seconds into the first period. ISU up 38-0.

I have to respect Midland for bumping a bunch of guys up a weight in order to fill out the lineup after they had the injury against WVU and also Jackson for responding by also bumping guys up where possible and putting in mainly backups.

Is there any hope at heavyweight this year? I know that there have been a lot of criticisms on here, but do we have someone young that might take control of the spot?
