weird similarities between '11 Tech game and '10 UT game

I was just thinking about the weird similarities between last year's UT game and this weekend's game at Tech.

Both years we are 3-4 coming off some bad losses.
Both years going on the road to play a Texas school.
Both years the Texas school pulled a big road upset the previous week. (UT over Nebby last year, Tech over OU last week)
Both years we play KU at home the following week.

Does it mean anything? Probably not, but the similarities are kind of strange.

completely agree, like I said, it probably doesn't mean a thing for Saturday, just a similar situation.

I do think Tech will be flat at the beginning of this game though, most teams are after a win like they had last week....don't think it will be enough for us to win, but we might hang around longer than some people think.
