I'm surprised by the amount of love for the MAC in this thread! Always cheer for North Scott, where I graduated.

CRWash as I graduated from there. Xavier can recruit players so the fact that it's small is inconsequential. Also I'm sorry to the Jeff fan.

Many of the big schools can/do recruit players... maybe not to the extent some of the private schools do, but it happens.

No one can name a single player that CR Xavier has recruited. Not in their 2006 state championship season, not in the 2009 state semifinal season, not in the 2012 state runner-up season. All in Class 4A as one of the smallest schools. You could count on one hand the schools with a smaller enrollment that were playing in Class 4A.

I know it happens elsewhere but people make up excuses when they can't compete with a team that just works harder
