I am embarrassed that Cohen represents the university/athletic dept of Iowa State University.
Really nice game by the ladies tonight. After a slow start the offense did a solid job of ball movement and getting everyone involved. Seemed like the right approach in feeding Audi and setting up offense for other players. Also seemed like coaches have been working with Audi to not let ball stick in her hands. Take shot or look for open wing player. And those wing players did a good job of re-feeding the post.
Might have been our most cohesive defensive game I've watched in Big12 play. Really good help defense to plug the paint area.

Average game, decent crowd for a Wednesday night. Slow start but they really kicked it up in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Overall BYU is the type of league team that ISU should beat 9/10 times. Take the win and move on.
Molly's a smart basketball gal and she needs to be paired with somebody that isn't shouting like an excitable fan-boy. Good grief, he was freaking out about Crooks being "UPSTOPPABLE! after the first basket and the score was 2-0.
BTW, flipped over to the end of the TCU at OSU game so that was OSU announcers doing the ESPN+. Big come from behind upset for the Cowgirls and gotta give the OSU announcer boys some props, they never went over the top homer and respected that this is game being broadcast to everyone (which had to be a little hard when Heard drained a HUGE three in the last minute to change the game in favor of the Cowgirls). Play-by-play guy paused and let the analysis maybe talk more than he did the last few minutes.
Which actually doesn't really help us in the standings since we lose ground on the Cowgirls.
I really liked their Canadian freshman Delany Gibbs. We can hope our Danish gal Freya Jensen for 2025 turns out to be this good.
BYU had some nice players, I was impressed with the Gibbs gal, she is a very good player. Foul trouble really hurt BYU, their bigs were fouling from the tip and never stopped.
I told my wife, this ISU team is missing something, not sure what it is, but we will be lucky to make the tournament and do much of anything if we do.
I'm fine with the black alternate that football does but the gray basketball alternates are an abomination.
I missed that. I muted the 2nd half. Tried CC captions but apparently ISU doesn't have that, or at least it won't work for me. Switched over to TCU/OSU and the CC popped up and worked. Had to than turn the CC off which was fine because the OSU announcers were decent.
