In my head I like the line up of Jackson, Joens, Hare, Brown and Crooks
I agree, especially when she got to play more.
It took too long to realize Kelsey needed more playing time.
they just seemed too focused on getting her the ball instead of taking their shot. They can all make shots which would open up the inside and need to pass the ball quicker. just my opinion.
Poor shooting from 3 and turnovers doomed the team. If ISU wants to get better they have to get more athletic and find at least one more shooter from the outside. Crocks is a great player, but this team relied on her too much.
Agree with this!! I’ve said all season, she needs more time. And not to be benched when makes a mistake! We are getting there with that and her!

Never gave up, crowd did there part. Too many turnovers, a few head catching calls in the 4th.
Are people no longer allowed to box out. Harris with a text book box out back in my day and they call the foul, followed by the next one that would of been a hook and hold in the men's game. Is there no longer a hook and hold call in the women's game?

BF does this all the time which drives me crazy. Makes no sense. There are some players he looks the other way. Not a confidence booster for her imho.

Agree with others that this is it with no major departures/additions. Harris first off the bench.
I’ll note for those saying we need shooters, Harris is shooting a crisp 47% from 3, she just doesn’t get much space to get them up/doesn’t shoot as many as we may like. Same goes for Joens and Jackson from time to time (albeit at a lower percentage).
Noticed that. You never know who he seems to be pissed off at year to year. With Vic gone maybe the new family enemy is Nikki.
Sadly two of those five usually haven't contributed much offensively...and sometimes three of them. AJ is perhaps the one I'm waiting on. Always inconsistent and this year battling a foot injury that appears to have screwed up her shot.
When you coach a team to play the old "thug" ball that usually grates on him. Used to be that way when we played ATM...he usually didn't have time for their good old boy coach either.
Did you notice Baylor's defense? That had 100% to do with lack of shooting outside. They were in our grill all night long and beating the hell out of our guards physically.
The problem with this statement is she wasn't ready early on. If you've listened to her and the coach this was a process that finally yielded what we see now. Early in the season she wasn't ready. BUT she likely could have started her path to more playing time a few games earlier than she did. The upside is she is in a good position to be a MAJOR contributor next year and the year after.
Kind of like K-State players everytime they get called for a foul: hands-on-head "are you serious?" look.
Still think both Jackson and Joens are more like seventh and eighth players in the rotation if this program wants to take that next step. Just too inconsistent offensively. Audi and Addy need a better supporting cast in the starting lineup.
