Oh don't worry they'll be heavy drinking involved no matter where we end up. Just thought there might be some places to hang with more State fans than others.

4-5 of us guys coming down. Staying Friday night and leaving Saturday after the game, any suggestions on where to stay or what to do Friday night?

Our group will be hitting up mass street, Louise's, and R bar most presumably.

the wheel and the bull are hot spots on mass st.

Two years ago we were in 12 or 13 (the endzone). The team was to our left, with the student section directly behind them in 20-21, maybe 22. The people who went down in the CF buses were a little farther down that sideline, maybe 24 or 25 (we road-tripped separately).

I went to KU for over 30 years to watch cyclone football and always sat in section24.

So this lot 90 that everyone is talking about tailgating and parking their RV's in...is this somewhere we could "pitch a tent" for the night as well? I've called a bunch of different hotels and their all saying they are full because of a home game except for some in Olathe or Desoto. Based on the picture above why are the rooms all full?

The turnpike between KC and Lawrence isn't bad, will be under $2 and they take cards. Starts not too far east of Lawrence.

Speed limit is 75 outside of KC.

Planning to take the tailgate van down. Is Lot 90 a pay-to-enter lot? Or do we need to buy a pass in advance?
