Where are visitors usually sitting at now for Jack Trice? From memory I believe it used to be section 39 or so before the students were moved .

Had that flipped around. Sections 14-15 is where visitors used to be if I remember it right.

Unlike a lot of schools, Iowa State's seating chart actually shows the allotted visitor sections.

WVU shows theirs and surprisingly was able to buy tickets in the visitor section off their website. Houston shows it as well, but you have to buy them through your school.

Only benefit was it gets the students closer to the student tailgating lot. Screwed the people that were sitting in those sections, but they did get a price free for three years.
Yeah better seats at old price but then you have to move again in 3 years if you don't want to pay higher prices. The move sucked for us in what is now the student section. We had front row of Section O, now we are stuck in row 12/13 of M. Those people who did take better seats at a discount are going to have a devil of a time finding what they want at the old price point when the deal expires. Especially if they have a larger group sitting together like we do.

But I get why Jamie did it. I don't have to like it, but I get it.

We moved from section 23 over to the other side to section 19, this season we moved up 10 rows from where we were last season so that helps a lot when the play is in the North end zone. I believe we have one more year of the cheap seats and then we will have to decide what we are going to do. This past year I was going to drop the seats and then one of our kids friends reached out and wanted to purchase tickets for some of the games, and I told him that if he would take three games I would do it. Four games is plenty for me, I can watch the others on TV.

Maybe I'm misremembering here, but I could have swore that there was a planned reseating of the whole stadium after this season (this is the final year of the price-lock, I'm a former section P, now in 37). I do agree though, if that reseating doesn't happen, I'm very worried I'll get the worst seats possible. Here's to hoping for a good outcome I guess!

I’d stick them in A, ZZ, and N.
Hopefully if the aforementioned reseating happens, they do like Kinnick or many other schools do and just reserve the very last rows across the entire upper deck as visitors seats.

This is the first I have heard of any reseating...

Could there have been the thought of putting them in the closed end zone that it would make it louder for the oppposing team when in that end of the field?

Wish I could make it to Houston this year. Took a gander at tix yesterday and couldn't believe how cheap they are at cost.
