LOL this thing is a week out. I don't understand why people are getting excited about this. The forecast for this storm is going to change its path a million times and the prediction on how strong it will be will too.

Quite possibly, but from what I have read/heard, its path has been consistent for the last 3 days, and its amounts keep increasing.

Lol at people who can't understand it's just for fun at this point and is based on how things look today.

I take it you must not take part in any of the bracketology threads either?

So you are saying we could be a #1 seed in this case?

The weather service has been talking about this storm in their area forecast discussions for a couple of days now.

KCRG (CR) says there is only a 40% chance we see any snow.

KGAN guy (hate this channel actually) just said the weather patterns are setting up for a major snow event at the end of next week...who knows but it is fun to kill time by speculating how crazy the weather just might be!

I was just talking with the people I'm going with, we may be adjusting our travel times because of the storm. Obviously, we're going to wait until we have a better idea of when and where it will be the worst, but By God we are getting out to Colorado for some knee deep fresh.
Travel safe and have fun!

You as well. Now they are saying another storm Monday, 2/25. We will be heading back very early Tuesday, 2/26, so looks like white knuckling for the whole damn trip...

Our forecast guy in Northwest Arkansas verified that this will be a major storm and likely will stay north of us locally to where severe storms are expected, but if a shift south were to occur then snow. Due to a consistent path though, he felt like it would stay rainy here and Iowa/upper midwest would get heavy snow. Best of luck gentlemen.

KCRG is the worst weather team out there, period. They are simply awful.

The switch to directv has made me turn to other areas for my news. The stations don't come in when I would normally watch the weather anyway. Before the switch I used to watch KCRG all the time.
