On the Iowa rivals board there is some chatter he might be transferring. This is one I could get behind.

He was a great high school player but unless he's put on 50 lbs of muscle he's going to be a pretty average college player, IMO.

We wanted him pretty bad the last time around.

Of course, Iowa with all of their ethics and building things the right way wouldn't be in favor of a dirty transfer, right? (And I'm pretty sure that most transfers can't go to a school in their conference).

Not exactly sure.

Usually can but have to sit two years instead one, so it basically kills any chance.

Why two years? That can't be right.

I hope not. There should be better options out there. Just my opnion. Would not be very excited IF this actually did happen.

What I heard listening to a game last year. Ribs could be right about one with no redshirt, I'm just going off what I heard. It's a conference by conference decision. Most don't want in conference recruiting, not good sportsmanship.

Fred supposedly recruited him vigorously before and I doubt there is nothing to have changed Fred's opinion of him. When Uthoff committed to Wisky, I thought it was a lousy fit for him and maybe now he has realized it.

I would think we would be close to the top of the list for him. Transferring within the B1G is unlikely, IMO.

How would we know? He was pretty highly regarded in high school (a bunch of good offers) and he redshirted this year. Seems like he would fit our style and we have a couple of spots. I think this would be a good get for us.
