Updated Roster for 13-14

Cyclones.com has the roster updated for this year. According to a tweet, this roster is supposed to be correct for everyone's weights

My guess for the lineup this year:

125-Bauer/Larson
133-Hall
141-Goettl (Surprising, heard he was bumping up)
149-G. Moreno
157-Nicholson/Molina
165-M. Moreno
174-Weatherman
184-Beard
197-Gadson
HWT-Smith

Who does everyone else have?

I wonder how realistic it is for Goettl to really be making 141, I'd heard that was causing him health issues. Though maybe they were able to rework his diet over the summer to make 141 less of a cut. Until I actually see it though I'm going to assume he'll be at 149. The roster update might just not have included the weight change.

That's a more solid lineup than in the past few years. Mostly experienced names, or names we heard doing well during a redshirt year. Things are definitely looking up.

I would love to have both G. Moreno and Goettl in the lineup, but yeah I don't know if cutting to 141 is in the cards for either of them.

Still think things could change during the season at 125 to 157,depending on who gets beat out of the lineup and how the starter is performing.

The encouraging thing I see with those lineups is those guys actually give a **** about the tradition and prestige of the program and understand the expectations that come along with wrestling at this level.

141 - G. Moreno

I know we had 20+ guys in the room most of the summer working out and trying to get better. Not all are the guys we are always talking about, the walk ons also. The Swallas, Trevor Paulson, Morenos, Molina, Gadsen, Meeks, Smith, I think Shayden and many I don't know about. These guys have dedicated themselves to making Iowa State a wrestling powerhouse. I am excited about our guys and think they will put 110% on the mat and off also.

Terikuna pinned Larson last year, so unless we don't redshirt Meeks I am not sure who it could be if Hall were at 125. I wouldn't expect Shayden to AA or anything but with the redshirt year under his belt I'd expect him to be a .500 guy that didn't get blown out by non-elite wrestlers.

That would be welcome but also quite a big jump from a kid who was dominated at 133 two years ago.

Is ISU going to have a team this year ? Iowa and other schools came out with their schedule weeks ago, haven't seen anything from the Clones.

Most of our schedule is set but I don't think conference dual dates have been announced.

Nearly half (37 of 77) D-I schools still haven't released their 2013-14 schedule. Settle down.
