I'd be intrigued. I thought for sure they would have another helmet color this year based off of that twitter picture from Cyclone Equipment this summer.

Gold-cardinal-gold ... gold helmet in itself would be a pleasant surprise, as long as it isn't wrecked with some gray combo. Might as well stay "classic.

Actually, the more I think about it, Homecoming would be an ideal target date for unveiling the return of the gold helmet.
Pessimistic prediction - we get a gold helmet revealed for homecoming (hooray!), they do gold/cardinal/gold to hearken back to tradition/1977 team (cool)... .... ...but then foul it up with the new poop tornado logo.
I'm probably going to be in the minority here, but I think any combination that involves the cardinal tops with gold bottoms is awful.
I think it is much better than our normal/traditional uniforms. These are better because they don’t have the USC look.
I would probably crap myself in excitement if they reveal gold helmets. ALL GOLD EVERYTHING!

I must be the minority but I thought those were really horrible. I dont like wearing actual throw backs, but using color schemes of an old jersey to do something fresh.
I would be on board with W/G/W . I love when LSU does it.
If there is a combo that involves gold jerseys and gold pants I sure hope it looks a lot better than the one's we wore against Toledo in 2014. Coach Campbell saw first hand how turrible those looked.
