Tossup.
125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 285
Iowa State 133 & 197
UNI 165, 184 (But Colbray is wrestling a lot better than last year or early this year)

This could be an Iowa State win or get ugly depending how tossups go

Not feeling overly confident about this dual. I have a feeling that 141 and 149 will both go to UNI (largely due to the fact it is at West Gym, and neither Parker or Degen have beaten Alber or Thomsen). We don't match up great with UNI, but this team has surprised me this year. Hoping they surprise me again!

I have a feeling that what weight this dual starts could end up playing a bigger role than it typically does. I think starting at 41 would be good for us. Give the young guys in the last 3 matches an extra kick in the ass to get their job done. That and watching Gomez get a dual win with a pin would be awesome as hell.

Lots of hype about senior night against Mizz.
West Gym is a tough environment and hot as heck.
We need all 10 guys ready and can't come off flat like a few did at Oregon State.

We went into Iowa City, nothing tougher than that place; I think we will be ready!

I think any time the dual might be on the line that ISU doesn’t have a better guy to put out there than Gomez.

But I also think Gomez will be going hard for 6 regardless of what weight it starts at.

I'm confident that we trained through the Oregon State meet but I'm assuming they worked to peak for this weekend.

I would agree. I think Parker is going to be intense. He had to be very disappointed in the Oregon State match

Hope it motivates him and doesn't take away some of the confidence he had from big wins earlier in the season.

I agree with you though. Parker seems like the kind of kid to harness that energy in a positive way.

Totally, on all accounts. Parker can do some great things, especially when fired up.

Does Alber have much in the way of funky shot defense? That seems to be Parkers Achilles heel. On most guys he has no problem getting to the legs, it's the finishes he seems to struggle with at times.

Lol pretty sure that guy doesn't know how not to go for 6.

Any word if they dialed up the room temp during the week of practice to prepare for the sauna that is the west gym?

Just realized their sophmore All American from last is out Jacob Holschlag. Lost to Willie but then beat him in wrestleback.

Correct. They had a lot of injuries earlier in the season. Isley (285) just competed for the 1st time in about a month at Last Chance Open.

I think Thomsen and Foster both missed a few matches early in the season also
