Twitter Trending - Promoting ISU

Let me preface this by saying I am not a big Twitter user, so my understanding of trending may be off base. However, it seems ISU might be able to get a little more free publicity by encouraging us to use a common hash tag to put on all game day tweets.
Right now I see several come through like #cylcONEnation, #GoState, #ISU, #Cyclones, #IowaState, etc. I would think that if all of our supporters were encouraged to use the same hash tag on high volume days (like tomorrow) we might get some free publicity from Twitter.
It should be a hash tag that others might unknowingly use and leaves no doubt about who is being referenced (i.e. ISU - Ia State or Idaho State?, #GoState - Which state?).
I would think a plain #IowaState, would make the most sense.
I think I remember something for Iowa State was trending during last years Texas game, but do not recall specifically.
Again I am not a big user, so if my understanding of trending is off, the whole thing is moot.

Since we dominate everything online, we should organize some way to get #CycloneNation trending.

#CycloneNation would be the tag of choice to promote something going on, but even if everyone is including the words 'Iowa State' in tweets it can be a trending topic. 'Iowa State' was a trending topic nationwide when the Des Moines Register published their story on how ISU was still reserving the right to sue aTm if they left the conference.

It could be done...

Once you get every ISU fan complicit on twitter, start working on getting them to all wear the same color shirt to games.

How about writing in huge font on their ticket surrounding their row and seat, as well as informing them at the ticket office when they make the purchase?
