In Kelly's defense, ND should have won that game. All the QB had to do was NOT turn the ball over and when you have a FG kicker who has made 18 straight, I would think a 35 yard FG should be easy.

Why did you call a pass play into the end zone then? That is on Kelly as much as the QB. They should have run the ball and kicked the FG.

This is awesome. Way to go Golden Hurricane!

Tulsa would be an interesting candidate for the MWC to poach to get to 12 and have a championship game. I'm guessing they try to raid CUSA for Houston and Tulsa or another WAC team pretty soon, their chairman is aggressive.

Think Notre Dame will ever get back to what they once were in the late 80's/early 90's?

Have my doubts about it.

Just as the announcers said, go for a shot in the endzone but make sure the ball is thrown high and in the back corner of the endzone where only your tall receiver can get it. The ball was thrown incorrectly and it showed where the 5'9'' corner intercepted it.

When is their NBC contract up? At this point I fail to see how they could deserve a deal that trumps Big Ten TV revenue.

I wonder if NBC wishes they could get back into meaningful college football or if they get good ratings showing unranked teams nearly every weak while ABC/ESPN, Fox Sports, Vs, and CBS show top 25 teams all the time.

I would bet that when the NBC contract is up, it will be renewed just b/c of the money and following ND has. I know of many, many ND fans bsed on they are Catholic and that following is huge all over the country.

After basically allowing one of their students to be killed this week... they deserve this.

I hope they don't win another game this year.

It takes a trick play for MSU to beat ND - ND losses to Navy and now Tulsa - so yea MSU was way over rated.

Ironic that after this week, they play a team called the Golden "Hurricane".

Outside of Ohio State, the Big 10 isn't very good IMO. How Ohio State allowed Wisky to beat them is beyond me?

MSU is a very average football team. But ND is pathetic.
