Trouble finding games with Google

Whenever I want to know what channel a game is on I usually just pull out my phone and Google a team. For example, if you google 49ers it shows they play tomorrow but then you have click on the TV listing tab which then shows it is on Fox, which I don't think is correct.

I used to be able to find this info in about 5 seconds, now I end up opening an app or finding a website and scrolling through a bunch of junk to find the info I'm looking for, it really annoys me. Anybody know what's up or have a solution? Maybe I just wanted to rant a little.

Just did the search on bing. Took 2 seconds. Looks like it's time to change my default search engine.

506sports.com has NFL coverage maps each week, along with a CFB grid.

When I google the "San Francisco 49's schedule" I get this, which seems to give me all the options.

Is it possible that Amazon sold rights for Fox to broadcast it on their channel?

I’ve noticed this too. They swapped how they display movies/tv shows as well and not for the better.

@dmclone where are you? I can’t see that it’s on kdsm.
I'm in the Des Moines area. I think what others are saying is that if you live in SF or NY, it may be on Fox but if you live somewhere else, you have to wathc it on the bottom 2 choices, which is either NFL+ or Prime. I could be wrong

Ah, so it’s showing the local option for SF and NY regardless of location, got it.

Frankly, Google search in general has gone down the tubes, what with SEO and “engagement” and algorithms and all. If I try to search something, anything, on Google, I’ll get about three or four decent results buried somewhere in a sea of garbage websites like purewow .com or nmbtw.com or ipoki.com or crap like that … mostly with articles clearly written by AI that don’t answer my question.

cbs sports app is really solid for this info. I would recommend downloading on your phone. TV info for all games can be found on it.

Sometimes I feel this way but the other day I was thinking to myself "When is the last time I had to click on the next page for google results?"
