Also, why don't they bring back Kill now that he's back coaching?

Why, so they can watch him die on the sidelines? The idiot almost died because he won't listen to his doctors until his health forced him to quit. Now he is feeling better because he isn't under the stress of coaching and so the idiot goes back to coaching again at Rutgers. Dude has no life outside of football and I guess he just wants to die on the sideline. Throw in the fact that he wanted to run rogue with no oversight it isn't surprising how things blew up at Minnesota. Guy is a total ****.

Fleck is a good fit for Minnesota. He'll do well there, and I can see him bringing in much better recruits.

I can't think of a worse place for Fleck to go for us outside of KSU. That's direct competition and I don't know that he'll win but he will take his share of recruits.

I don't think Jerry Kill was the problem there. He's going to be a coordinator, which a lot of people with health problems have done.

Not looking good for Minnesota. ISU may be able to get a couple transfers. Players are saying they don't want to play for the administration and lots are looking to transfer.

Not what my three friends that work in the SID office are saying.
Just going by official releases from reputable websites. I've got no doubt there is mutual interest.

As far as this as a coaching move for Fleck, I think it's almost a lateral move or even a step down for him. Reports are he wont go to any non-power 5 conference, which makes sense. However, I think jumping into this burning trash heap may not be the greatest move. I do think if you can recruit and win at Western Michigan, you can probably recruit and win at Minnesota. Should be interesting to watch how this unfolds.

The next Gopher coach will be Harsin from Boise St.
Fleck will be interviewed but he will remind the Gopher base of Tim Brewster to which they will say- no thanks.

Fleck has off the field baggage, would be hard sell for the President and administration. All you need to know about Fleck is even Oregon didn't look at him, and Oregon will do whatever they have to, to get back to the top of the Pac-12.
