Pretty easy to understand that it's because they retired Garza's jersey, and Roy senior's jersey has not been retired.

Just a great example of why retiring Garza's jersey was completely moronic by Iowa.
He didnt even mention the coaching staff....

Recruits should pay attention to the way Iowa fans treat their alumni. Oh wait, they already do. Nice recruiting class. How does a team go 0-18 in the conference and still have a better recruiting class than a top 5 team?
To be fair, when those recruits signed it wasn't that well known just how bad a state the ISU program is in under Prohm. Now that its clear, you won't keep those players. And if you do they'll find a reason to leave early like the ones before them.

But hey, a disgruntled former Hawkeye qualifies as a banner day in Cyclone basketball lately. And they said ISU wouldn't have any wins in March this year! Make sure to thank Devyn for giving you one.

True. That they didn’t realize the state of the ISU program. Also true that the recruits knew of the racist Iowa program.

You seem to think it is odd that NBA caliber players leave early. I realize that is a concept you are unfamiliar with.

You can admit that this is really really bad especially given what is going on inside the Athletic Department in Iowa City. A former black player held the scoring record for 30+ years and they wouldn't retire his jersey even as he was dying and then a white player breaks the record and gets his number retired before he's even done playing

I’m not sure if they are that stupid or just that out of touch.

Nobody’s winning anything, we’ve already seen so many disgruntled former African-Americans players at Iowa. Sadly, it’s not even surprising at this point. Btw, are you that Hawkize douche on Twitter?

All these mentions of Dev's dad while they embrace Luka's dad is a quite the sight.

Lol Iowa fans make a terrible name for themselves on Twitter. I know that those idiots don’t represent the entirety of the fan base, but this has happened so many times this year where a former player expresses his concerns with the University and you have Karen’s and Tom’s telling them they’re actually trash and should be grateful to put on an Iowa jersey.

And it’s the majority of comments too. You don’t see that many people sticking up for Dev. I feel bad for him as well as other former players in other sports from Iowa. They don’t give a crap about you when you’re gone.

Talked with someone this morning briefly and this isn't just directed at Barta. Devyn and Fran don't have a relationship anymore and haven't for a while

You're on the verge of releasing a torrent of "recovering from Todd".
