This may be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me. The World sucks.

Man, he's older than I thought and younger than I thought at the same time.

This one makes me feel really old. Hope he recovers!

Janny and I had tried to figure out his and Joe Walsh's ages during the concert this summer. It makes sense that he'd be that old, but it's also surprising. But think about it, the guy has had some level of success in each decade since the 70s.

Oh no. Let's hope he recovers.

I saw Soundgarden and Tom Petty in concern within a month of each other this spring/summer. Wow.

Remember when Tom Petty helped The Postman escape from Bethlehem's scouts on that cable car? Yeah, me neither. Nobody watched that terrible movie. :D

But in all seriousness, please don't let Tom Petty be the next great one to die. :(

Update per TMZ:

UPDATE: We're told after Petty got to the hospital he had no brain activity and a decision was made to pull life support.

One of my very first concerts was Long After Dark. Sure hope he doesn't need a "Change of Heart" and pulls through OK!!
