I wouldnt know, I have enough females in my life.
I was on it about a year ago and it was basically a bunch of bots.
Fwiw met my gf of 6 years on tinder.

Tinder = 2 am hookups at the bar. Yes, they can lead to a long relationship. But they’re more likely to end in a walk of shame and never to be contacted again. Unless, of course, there’s a financial agreement that needs to be made in 9 months.
Dating apps tend to function a little differently by region. Peeps I know around here are jumping ship to Hinge quite a bit, saying that Tinder is full of bots and unsuccessful connections. Bumble had its own niche with the whole "women message first" thing, but now that's gone.
They can work..9 yrs on dating apps and met the one a yr ago. Be patient, have fun, be safe.
