"I am very disappointed to end our very successful partnership at this time...."

With Williams saying he is "shocked" and "disappointed" obviously Tiger just gave him the pink slip. I thought it was odd that Williams caddied for Adam Scott at the US Open, but I just figured he needed to get paid while Tiger heals.

I'm guessing Williams had to be the highest paid caddie out there - but how much do you all think a Tiger Woods' caddie can make a year? $1 M, $2M ?

He had a 60 minutes piece once upon a time. He was compensated well.

Now, he can cash in huge with a tell all book (if he never wants to caddie again)

Yes, probably a good thing for Williams.

I don't know if Tiger will ever be good again?

a base salary of $1,000 a week plus 5% of the tournament purse, 7% of a top 10 and 10% for a victory
And all the leftover gal fans that the poor caddy can handle. Wait. Scratch that. There were no leftover fans in Tiger's case.

Meh, this is no more than a washed-up has-been trying to shake things up.
