So Friday my friend and I will be coming in from Boston (I have a few friends there) around 6pm and I was wondering if I could pick up both of our tickets (both through ISU Will Call) if I have both our IDs while he goes and puts our bags in our hotel a few blocks away. I'm gonna assume there will be long lines and we want to check out MSG before we sit down in our seats.

Shouldn't be a problem right?

I've some news on tickets. According to an email we just received,

"Your ticket request has been fulfilled and tickets will be available for pick up on Thursday, March 27 from Noon - 6 pm ET at the Madison Square Garden Box Office located on 7th Avenue between 33rd & 31st Street. Tickets will also be available at the same location on Friday, March 28 beginning at 9 am ET. A photo ID is required for ticket pick up.[FONT=arial, sans-serif]All tickets were sold as an all-session package meaning you will receive tickets for the games played on Friday and Sunday."

I've heard that sections 222 & 221 are the most common for the $200 tickets.

Originally ISU stated tickets would be available 90 minutes prior to the game. Now you can get them as early as Thursday and all day on Friday. This should decrease the line length at will-call.

I lived in NYC for a number of years in the 90's. Keep in mind that traffic is heavy in both directions to/from Manhattan on Friday afternoon / early evening.

I'm so peeved right now I have a full booked trip to NYC and no tickets. These prices are simply insane.

Do what I did. Call the Iowa State ticket office 1-888-478-2925, tell them you work for a company that is a donor and has season passes but that the usual company account contact isn't going. Offer your own credit card in replacement and bingo, 2 more tix for husky fans, 2 less for the cyclones.

Easy to pick them out in a full ISU section

I don't even see how this is possible:

1. they would need to know a Company that donates and has season tickets (this might be easy)

2. they would have to know the companies contact for the tickets which imo would be near impossible.

Yeah, this is probably true. I would hope that employees aren't that gullible, but stuff happens.

Im not sure if you mini detectives have figured this out yet or not buttttttt.......Doug the thug is august west. Remember the thread where the mods got mad about people being mean to him? And ISU people were trying to help him? Ya, good work. I'm not sure how nobody else caught this when he originally posted.
