Thoughts on Loofahs

I was recently encouraged to use a loofah in the shower to prevent unnecessary excess use of shower gel in there. I hope I am not in the minority in thinking that: because I do not have lady parts, I, therefore, am not qualified to use such a device in the shower. Pour shower gel in hand, apply to head, pits and other places, rinse and dry. It is not difficult. Thank you.

Why do you think women are in the shower so long?

I always called the natural course sponge thing a loofah, but never the synthetic puffy thing. Mrs. Velo calls it a poof. She hangs one in the shower for me and I use it because I use less soap with it. I never feel the need to prove my manhood in the shower. Well maybe once in a while... ;)

Well, hopefully you don't have to prove it to Mrs. Velo.

Kinda like brushing your teeth. I rinse and wring it out after each use. Do you rinse your mouth after brushing? I use the same toothbrush for 6 months at a time before replacing it (start with the new one the dentist gives you after each visit). Running it under water before using it. I use the same razor for a month or two with cleaning it, just running it under water.

How does that loofa work on Uranus?

Your point is?
I'll bet there are all kinds of bacteria on that toothbrush. But that doesn't stop me from using it for a few months. This "oh-my-god-there-must-be-bacteria-on-that-loofah" fear is overblown. Maybe I should start marketing single use toothbrushes. With bacteria hysteria it is only a matter of months and I will be a millionaire.

Pretty sure someone already beat you to that.
