Who would you want to be the next coach?

And Mangino is not an option for this scenario.

IF Rhoads is out, I'd like to see them try and lure Matt Wells away from Utah St.

PJ Fleck from Western Michigan or the Tulsa coach.

An offensive-minded coach with HC experience, so realistically we would probably be pulling an HC from the Group of 5 level. I wouldn't be too surprised if we just lost to our next head coach tonight actually.

I wasn't impressed enough by Toledo to go after their head coach. They looked lost a lot too.

Yeah watched part of their game with OU today...he was OC at Baylor and they run their offense...did a pretty good job against OU's defense.

Think his name is Montgomery.

A coach with a background in offense, preferably a pro style offense. The last 3 coaches have all been defensive coordinators and other than the early Mac years none of them have had potent offenses.

He wouldnt come of course. I actually think you could run the triple option out of the spread and no i dont mean the options all the spreads run. I mean a true triple option out of the spread. The dive play would be different though but it could work.

Anyway my choice us mangino with shane his dc.

Coach ABC (Atanasoff-Berry Computer) 2.0, commemorating the world's first automatic electronic digital computer created at Iowa State in 1937. Benefits include; no buyout contracts, algorithms determine offensive/defensive schemes, reduced ticket prices from salary expenditures.

I was a Rhoads boat for a long time I really was. But I see no way he survives now. I wish he would succeed as a coach but that isn't plausible.

This loss hurt. And we should begin our coaching search now. It pains me to say it because honestly I love Paul.

No one w/any pedigree is going to coach here so you have to hope that some unknown catches lightning in a bottle…but if he does, he'll immediately bolt to any school not named Iowa State.

ISU is probably the worst Power-5 job in the country.

We should've kept baseball and got rid of football.
