Going to Omaha for a couple of days to attend a concert. What else around the Century Link Center should we look up while there? Restaurants, Breweries, Bars, anything a must see?

The Old Matress Factory (a.k.a. "The Matt") is a nice Bar and Grill just blocks from the CLC. Otherwise there are lots of good restaurants in the Old Market. Upstream Brewing Co., Stokes and Blue/Sake Bombers Lounge are my favorites.

EDIT: if the weather is decent, check out the Pedestrian Bridge (Nebraska's Bridge to Nowhere).

Twisted Fork is a great restraunt or Jazz if you love Cajun or the pasta place....drawing a blank on the name for some reason. Also FYI do not go north from that place.

Leave. Seriously, Des Moines beats the **** out of Omaha all day.

If you insist on staying despite my concern/advice; the old market has lots of restaurants and bars. Rock Bottom Tap has tap tables, the Dubliners has great live irish music, Roja has excellent Margaritas. Really just about any food type and bar type you could ask for.

Old Market Business District - Home

Dundee has some decent places and is more of a hipster hangout. Mark's, Pitch and Goldberg's are all good for food/drink.

West Omaha has some decent spots but is really spread out with no character.

Roja, J's on Jackson and M's Pub in the Old Market. M's pub isn't so much a pub as it is a nice place to eat.

What used to be Ricks Boatyard is now Storz Brewing Co. but I haven't been there yet.

Cresent moon was one of my favorite places to go for a good beer when I lived there. By UNO campus.

Great little art museum at the Joslyn. https://www.joslyn.org/

Saw the puppet guy at the Funny Bone before he became famous.

Might be a little nippy, but always a good time at the Hunky Dory (Henry Doorley) Zoo - do they still have white tigers? I want to say that they now have an aquarium, but I might be wrong.

If you like aircraft, you need to go for drive to the Strategic Air Command museum on the Interstate towards Lincoln (used to be at Offutt before they moved it). Very impressive.

And if you do that, take the time to stop at the Holy Family Shrine at the top of the hill on the south side of the road near Gretna (south and then east of the truck stop on the south side of the interstate. A spring runs from the altar into a fountain in the visitors' center... Very cool.

As someone mentioned earlier, the Old Market in the old downtown is fun with kitschy shops - if you have a shopper in your entourage - and lots of places to eat...but that's probably a lot more fun in summer when you can sit outside and have a drink.

well if you like strip malls you are in for a real treat. Also, they have some great chain restraunts and 600 bars all with about 11 people each in them. Keno you say? Why yes, you can pick whatever numbers youd like. Wow!

WheatFields in Old Market has great food. Go there for breakfast and take something back to the hotel for dessert later. You won't regret it!
