Awwww. Snap!.....

I read victoria's secret, does that count?
I'd love to see you try that in a meeting full of women sometime...

BOSTINELOSD: Did you see the latest Victoria's Secret catalog? This year's wireless demi-cup just looks fantastic. I'm thinking of getting one for my wife. What do you think Mary?

I agree with ya, I read the paper all the time.... the best thing about reading the paper is you end up reading about many subjects you wouldn't look up on your own just scanning the internet news.

The downfall of the newspaper industry is just not good, in my opinion. Plus they only cost a couple quarters!

I read my town newspaper once a week. The Rag is a joke. Their stories are so bias, well what stories they have. Get your local news on TV or WHO. Get your national news on Fox News and read stuff on line. Get educated on what is going on in this country, more than from 1 news outlet. Learn what is really going on.

I keep a subscription to my little hometown (back in ND) of 900's weekly newspaper. It has good writing and it is quite enjoyable to read. My sweetie pie loves to read it too..

The Register ain't what it used to be. I can agree with though (and envy) those able to subscribe to a daily newspaper worth reading. It can be a good substitute for spending as much time online.

You can pick up a lot of news from a site such as this but I agree people need to keep informed from a news source somewhere.

I have followed the news long enough, though, that sometimes I see less need to keep informed about all the goings on. For me, such a time is now, when I feel I can spend that time more productively at some other activity.

It may be different if you live in or around Des Moines, where you still get your local news. But for me the Register is a small subset of its former self. And it has long been, and is almost always now, predictable.
