No Lakes allowed but specific events and places around lakes are.

I'm a history guy so I love Living History Farms. We have been going to Science Center recently but that is getting old as not much has seemed to change.
Back in the day I loved going to Boji bay.

Grotto in West Bend is cool. Dubuque River Museum is cool too.

Hmm....good question.

I do love Ledges. High Trestle Trail is fun. Also would consider adventureland's waterpark. I've heard lost island waterpark is awesome but haven't been there.

Bob Feller museum as well.

Outside of hitting a homerun there off a 12 year old, the field of dreams was disappointing for me. I'd say maybe I like some of the campgrounds in Eastern Iowa, or else a casino.

Jack Trice Stadium on a Saturday during the fall. Make sure you get there early enough to visit the beautiful grass lots for a few hours before entering the stadium itself.

Wow, 2 votes for the grotto already. I've lived 20 miles from it for almost 20 years now and still haven't visited it. Really need to get that taken care of...

Observation point on the Missouri river where you can gaze into Nebraska and see what life was like 20 years ago.

2nd highest point above sea level in Iowa. That's right. Pilot Knob, just outside Forest City.
