Well you called this one.
Instead of going for it on 4th and 2 from the Ohio 46 yd line, we took a timeout instead of accepting a delay of game penalty. This resulted in our shortest punt of the day, a 31 yd punt that was downed at the Ohio 15.
All of his other punts were about 50 yards and pinned Ohio inside the 20, regardless of punting from our own 27 to Ohio's 42.
Basically, Perkins is going to pin the opponent inside their own 20 regardless of our field position, so there is never a reason to burn a timeout in that situation.
Perkins = bright spot for ISU
Now, wouldn't it be nice not to have to use him so often?

I figured he'd be #1 in total yards by a safe distance but he's #2 in total and average.
