Just remember Otz was the best assistant recruiter ISU has had in the last 20 years (maybe ever) and all CSP did after he left was sign the best class ISU has seen in 15-20 years.

Sucks if we lose him and I'm not trying to dismiss it but best to keep everything in perspective.

Agreed. Berry was fine but he was basically unemployed when we hired him. He was not a guy that you can’t recover from losing.

I'd assume Leech was not recruited by Berry as he works primarly the north so can't imagine his departure has any impact there.

Everyone just had to keep talking about how quiet the spring has been. Jk

I gotta think this is a big pay increase like 100k or more. If we can’t compete in pay than he probably has Prohms blessing. Sucks it’s a big 12 team but oh well.

He gone. Hope Prohm has a short list of great options to go after. I'm sure he does.

Bad move but I get it. Shaka is on thin ice. The good thing is Prohm is way more involved in recruiting than Hoiberg. Also, I am pretty sure we can get another guy to replace him these days that may be in contact with some other recruits that are solid.
Did Fred recruit?

He gone. Maybe we could poach one of Frans guys
Barta has probably given buyouts to all of Fran's staff. Too expensive...

I hope Pollard's at least counter-offering to drive up his price. Texas needs to pay for it's toys...

Speaking of Texas, when's the last time that school with 60,000 students, in a massive city with no relevant professional sports, sold out a basketball game that Kevin Durant or Trey Young was playing at?
