Is that a real question? haha

Yes, only because I heard a rumor that they would not be. I have come to terms with it. The first time I ever went to one I had no idea they did that....and since it was a Friday night shells were everywhere on the floor. It did not make for a good first impression.

Tried going to the one in CR a few times in the last few years. Never ate there. I ain't waiting an hour to get seated for any chain restaurant---ever. And sitting on top of each other next to a couple and grandma and the bratty grandkids on a Friday night. Not my idea of a relaxing dining experience. We always end up going to a locally-owned restaurant instead

Good for you.
In a thread about a chain restaurant, who cares?

That's why call ahead seating was invented.

...sez the guy responding to a chain restaurant thread. It's funny to weed out the small-townies from podunk, Ia who must think the Olive Garden rivals Spago's in LA

A friend of mine went to the one in Dubuque and said it was good, I'll try it once anyways. Other than Aunt Maudes, and Buffords, and Northwestern Steakhouse I am unaware of a place you can get steak in Ames. I'll probably go on a Tues or a Thurs. definitely not on a WEEKEND night.
