Honestly I'd rather have Saban at Texas. A strong Texas is a strong B12. Having them be weak the last few years has been fun for us, but miserable for the perception of the conference.
So then, after Campbell leaves for the Browns job, Saban will be ready to come to Ames and win a NC at his 3rd school before he retires. Looking forward to it.

I've been out of college for almost 20 years, but I would be happy to go back to Ames for a week long bender if this happened.As if Ames wouldn't burn to the ground in the ensuing week-long rager.
I realize Texas is a different beast than ISU but I wonder how Pollard would feel if the Reagents started started called other coaches agents when we didn't even have an opening.
Or maybe that is common so the AD has plausible deniability.
