Typically more than one week off in football isn't a good thing. I wouldn't be real pleased about this if I was Texas. A tune up game where you get your reserves in at the end like Kansas is the ideal week before a big game.
One source says they had a grand total of five positive tests. Apparently that (and injuries) wiped out the whole QB room.

I'd agree, except now we've got a physical game on our hands this weekend, with a short turnaround to a road game that should again be physical. It helps that we had last week off, of course, but we've got some disadvantages of our own.
It’s the schools decision to play or not. Here is an article explaining that Kansas will determine after a 14 day quarantine if they can resume. Not the big 12. So yes in fact Kansas can claim to many coronavirus problems to continue football.
