I'd say the entire season.

So much to discuss about those episodes, I don't know where to start. I think my favorite part was the Dr. Marvin Candle sequence at the very beginning!

Pretty sure it was the lady that told Desmond he couldn't marry Penny and had to go to the island after the hatch blew towards the beginning of Season 3.

Great start to the new season. A lot of action.

It was. Maybe now we really start to see who she and Ben really are .

I'd say the entire season.

I agree. That was an awesome opening. The episode was a little scattered, but some good stuff in there.

Yep, it was the lady in the jewelry store that was telling Desmond he wouldnt marry Penny. This was when Desmond time travelled for the first time and he wanted to change things.

I'm also guessing that she is Farraday's mom that he told Desmond to go visit.

I know its only the first night, but some things really didnt make sense to me.

So the losties travel through time but Locke is the only one who seems to have any control over events, while the other losties dont. (per Faraday, who happens to talk to desmond in the past...) So are we to assume Faraday is lying about being able to change events?

I was confused by this as well. Why was Locke able to kill those Dharma people who were attacking Juliet/Sawyer? According to Farraday you can only interact with people you know in that time period.

Those guys who were attacking Juliet/Sawyer seemed like guys in military uniforms...like WWII uniforms. One guy I thought had an Australian accent?

I'm 99% sure they were Dharma and the ones shooting the flaming arrows were probably the "Others." If you remember that time they were currently in was when Desmond was in the hatch all alone.
