TCU coach Gary Patterson has been rewarded with a new contract, The (Fort Worth) Star-Telegram reported Thursday.
Patterson, whose Horned Frogs have won 11 games four times in the past six seasons, is now signed through the 2014 season. Sources said the deal increases Patterson's base salary to $1.7 million, not including incentives, and includes raises for his assistants, according to the report.
