Wait...TCU *** pounds one of the best SEC teams this year and that reminds you how "impossibly" far away ISU is from competing for anything? Some of you basketball fanboys try way too hard to take shots at ISU football whenever you can.
Gary Patterson is WAY classier than I ever would be, that's for sure.
If I was TCU's head coach this year, I would have left my starters against ISU and pounded us by 90 to make a statement about deserving to get into the playoff.
And today, I would have left the starters in again and pounded Ole Miss by 60 or 70 too, in order to make another statement about how they got screwed out of the playoff.
I do have a lot of respect for Patterson. If the members of this stupid committee couldn't see that TCU could have put up 100 on ISU if they had wanted to, then they shouldn't be on this committee in the first place. You shouldn't have to run up the score and completely humiliate someone to prove how good you are. The committee members are supposed to know how good you are from watching your games.

I saw that, and the announcers just played it business as usual. Kind of summed up the afternoon for Ole Miss.
