TCU making moves

I was at ISU the year Hilton Magic started, the winter of 82-83, and then transferred to TCU. Not that Jamie is the Mayor, but he is going to have some really good leverage coming home, similar to Fred. They had really good teams there for a few years, and if Baylor can be relevant, TCU surely can. Granted a football state, TCU will be a good program again in a few years.

Yes, I was just there in January. They tried to squeeze as many seats as possible. It's small and cramped.

I agree. The loads of money spent makes it seem like it'd be great, but the old arena was such garbage that they really had to spend a ton just to make it something that wasn't awful. The seating wasn't great, pretty cramped & we had a ladder coming down right at our head where we sat in January. The concourses are improved, no more having to walk downstairs to a tiny bathroom & obviously there's little to no lines at concessions (mostly due to lack of people). It still looks & feels like a high school arena.

I thought TCU had it going with their last coach. I only see it getting better from here.
