TCU is a bit of a mystery with a new coaching staff. They are 9-3 on the season with all three losses to decent competition. Those losses (Georgia, Colo State - Deb Pattersons team, and Texas A&M) were all relatively close with only the Georgia game on the road.
What at is scary is they have four players averaging double figures (Medley 17, Breaux 11, Ventress 11, and Prince 10) and a fifth close behind. Medley is not afraid to chuck it up from deep and the team shoots about 32% from three. They shoot solidly from the charity stripe at 77% (same as ISU) but have gotten there more.
Prince (6.4) and Breaux (5.4) are their leading rebounders and as a team they get out rebounded slightly each game. This is about the only area where ISU has a distinct advantage.
TCU goes solidly 8 deep. They do not take care of the ball particularly well (60 more turnovers than ISU). One stat to take note of is the number of steals TCU has...120 to ISUs 64.
Also of interest is their lineup. They play a small group much like ISU does at times. The four mentioned above are all 5'10" or smaller. None of their 6' or taller ladies get anything but trash minutes.
