AL Central played the NL Central this year, so you are going to have to wait at least 3 more seasons.

I can't believe they are having an outdoor stadium in Minnesota. That will make for some cold April games.

The only thing I am worried about is how much our homefield advantage is affected. Teams hated playing in the Metrodome because they would lose the ball in the lights. Having an outdoor stadium will be a great change of pace and I'm looking forward to seeing at Target Field.

They played outdoors at the old Met from the early 60s to the early 80s, when the dome was built. Only issue will be if the Twins make it to the World Series, since the season now can push into November.

Rep for whoever can tell me what sits on the site of the old Met now.

Correct. There is a marker where home plate was in the amusement park. Apparently I have to aim my rep gun elsewhere.

There's also one red seat bolted to the wall where Harmon Killebrew's 520' home run landed. (That was the longest homer in the history of the Met)

Edit: Found a pic

correct, but I think Snoppy retired, it's now Sponge Bob.. but Home Plate is Sweet, nice touch

It isn't Camp Snoopy any more? When did that happen? Guess that shows how long it has been since I was in the MOA. Dang, I can't even remember when.

That's a **** shame too. Who would have thought Charles Schulz would have such greedy offspring?

everytime I took my kids or a group there, we would always say if you get lost, make your way over to Snoopy's dish and we will find you.....

Not the same without Snoopy.......:skeptical:
