Anyone know what that symbol on the KSU uniforms is? Or what it stands for? It looks like it belongs on a prep school blazer.

"For the Kansas State Wildcats Men’s Basketball team, the patch on their game jersey chest is to honor the current and heroic 1-7 FA (Field Infantry) Division of the Fort Riley Military Base, just minutes from the Manhattan campus. The patch appears on all three colors of KSU’s jersey top and is proudly displayed every game."

Edit: I am actually impressed with Frank Martin after reading this story.

Frank was also wearing that pin (red shield with silver stripe) on his lapel along with two others...

They should just put a dollar sign symbol on their jerseys and be done with it.

Me too. Reminds me a lot of LE, and I loved LE in his prime at ISU. I loved the scowl, and the whole Dr. Doom thing. I wish we had Frank as our coach.
