IMO has gotta go. Why copy the red sox? Not original at all.

Is this really something people are going to bring up after EVERY game!? Deal with it and move on, if you don't like it leave early! And then get on CF and ***** about people leaving early...

I wondered who would start the obligatory sweet Caroline thread. Shut up and deal with it, this has been discussed 1000 times on this board.

It's what we do and it's here to stay. The mass majority of ISU fans love it. Get over it. If you hear it, it means we are winning or just had a huge win.

So here are some suggestions of other songs.
Right Place Wrong Time- Dr. John
The Seeker- The Who
Who are You- The Who
I just want to Celebrate- Rare Earth(not the hokier versions!)
All Right Now-Free
Already Gone-The Eagles
Beautiful Loser-Bob Seger

Not sure of the originality of them, but not as blatant of a copy as SC.

Though you did just list a number of good songs, I don't think any of them would get NEAR the same reaction that you saw from Hilton and Sweet Caroline. They just aren't conducive to jumping around and singing at the top of your lungs.

If you think the Red Sox started Sweet Caroline you are crazy. The sawks started playing that song in the 8th inning in 2002.

Next you'll tell me the Bulls stole the Alan Parsons Project song from the Huskers.

In Nebraska they call that Bulls intro song "The Husker Song". Dead serious. Lived in central Neb from 92-96 and people would constantly call radio stations and request The Husker Song and that's what they meant by it.

This was during the height of Jordan mania even.

Fans enjoy it and no one other than the OP gives a shitif the red sox play it or not. We've been playing it for years anyway.
