I think this is doing an okay job for tomorrow. Probably would expand the 4-6" area up through Highway 20 or so (Sac City-Fort Dodge area). Possibility of a 7" total somewhere, but I think most under that.

Also a possibility of some NE-ward shift, after looking over short range ensembles. I'll have more on Sports Fanatics.

Storm watches getting posted now. Calling for 4-7 inches of snow with isolated larger amounts. Wouldn't doubt it if this becomes a 10 inch snow event when it's all said and done.

NOAA is now saying 4-8 for Des Moines tomorrow and 1-2 tomorrow night. But Ames with less. Hope for a shift to the east.
