My issue w bball is lack of leadership. You look at fball & every position has its best player as the leader. Bball has some great people but I'd our leadership hierarchy is missing. We had great leadership w Niang, Naz, Monte but when they left, it created a vacuum where leadership was missing. NWB is a great dude but not the same sort of leader, Wiggy isnt leading he's shooting, THT, same. Lard, nope. Jacobson has tried to put himself there (thats dude)... TH can do it. GC4 has some ability but as freshman they havent put the time in to learn/earn it. Our bball team could learn from our fball team... It could happen next year... Losing Lard is disappointing considering the time CSP spent on him, but I'll say lets go with addition by subtraction.

Imagine a teleporter is invented, you get to use it for a week before anyone else and there will be no record with how you use it.

What are three ways that you are going to abuse the technology?

Thanks for the questions guys. Since I only had four submitted as of last night (when I usually sit down to start writing) I asked CW for the green light to write a piece on Hoiberg directly instead since that's what I would have been writing about primarily anyway. So look for that in the next day or two and I'll bank some of the questions that rolled in this morning for a future edition of the mailbag.

I don't think we've lacked leadership, but we have lacked a vocal leader. Seems like Tyrese will be that for sure. I like the steps Jacobson took towards that, and I think Conditt can be that as well.

Teleporter, not time machine.

But if you're into the whole "corpse" thing with Marilyn, then you do you. Or, more accurately, you do eeeww.

The potential was there but it was lacking. Jacobsen stepped up but where was coach? My knocks on him, not demanding enough of his best players. Out of bounds plays.

Good. Lately I've been feeling like there's a distinct lack of Fred Hoiberg coverage on this site.

So I spent three seconds thinking up a question, and now I have to wait for an answer?

Favorite thing to freak out about as an ISU fan? Coach stays, coach goes, player leaves, no baseball, team loses, team wins but not by enough, announcers, hot drinks not hot enough, referees, zebras, stripes, uniforms, or that the hawkeyes still exist?
