Discussions have arosen whether we'd like a national championship in football or basketball. This can branch off into another topic, would you rather have the likes of a stud QB, such as Vince Young, in cardinal & gold or would you take a stud PG/SG, such as Lebron or Carmelo. Share your opinions.

I'd rather have the stud BB player. We've had studs at both, but a stud BB player like Tinsley can take a bunch of role players further than a stud QB can.

Being a football guy...I'm taking the QB. I agree with bmuff 100% - but I still want the QB.

Stud PG/SG cuz he would play both offense and defense. QB plays half a game and doesn't have as much of an impact to a team then a PG/SG.

LeBron over Vick Vince Meyer or anybody ANYDAY!

QB depends on the Oline too much. ISU has been there done that. Set hut. hut. hut...... sack.

Yeah, I have to admit, I'm the opposite of ISUfan22, I like basketball more. So I'll take the five tool guard who plays both offense and defense.

Like somebody else mentioned too, with only 5 players on the court at a time, a single player has a lot bigger effect on the outcome of the game, even if it is an important player like a quarterback we're talking about.

That being said, I love Bret Meyer and I wouldn't want anybody else playing the position for the next two years. It has me very excited.

Speaking of stud qbs, Eric Courch, 2001 ex Heisman for NUFan, finally made third string qb for Torronto Argonauts. Has anybody seen his Heisman on sale at ebay?

Guess Seneca and Sage showed more potential.

"It was a hard decision," said general manager Adam Rita. "We've got to find us a guy (who can eventually take over from the 42-year-old Allen) and I felt Charlie wasn't that guy. Having said that, I don't know if Eric's the guy, either, but we have to look at him.

i'd have to say football. basketball isnt admired as much of football, due to how much the NBA sucks. I'd like to see the stud go to the pro level and kick A$$ there.
