I can't speak for anyone else, but that's not why I hate Kansas fans. I hate Kansas fans because they're so entitled, they'll be obnoxious during the game and do their "rock chalk" chant if they win, but don't stick around to take crap if they lose, and because they refuse to see that they get the benefit of the doubt on so many calls. The refs favor Kansas. But you really don't hear Kansas fans admit that. Instead, they try to argue that they're treated just like everyone else.

You having what we want has nothing to do with it. In all of the teams who have been a part of the big 12, there are only two fan bases I've hated. Kansas basketball fans, and Nebraska football fans, and in both of those cases it's because they're obnoxious

And they boo all the time. Even when they are winning. Stupid Boohawks.

He is making ok points. He just seems completely oblivious as to why he is annoying.

I am not oblivious; it just matter to me. I rub some the wrong way in making my points perhaps too aggressively, but so be it. It adds a little color to the conversation and gets people riled up enough to respond. Boring posts illicit no responses and what fun is that?

I wonder if the mods have ever thought about giving the trolls their own thread so they can talk about the Cyclones amongst themselves so many of us can escape the mindless chatter.:twitcy::yes:

Are you going to be OK? Shall we put together a support group "Those Wronged by Twocoach"? It's a message board, you need thicker skin. Holding grudges over meaningless things is an action for 14 year old girls, not grown adults. Did I email the picture to Hoiberg? No, so no harm done to anyone.

ISU has a great program and a tremendous coach who is doing great things. Part of growing into a nationally relevant program is that more than just your little island of ISU fans pays attention to your program now. Consider it a badge of honor to get the chance to argue the merits of your program with outsiders. Four years ago, no one but the most serious ISU fans paid any attention to ISU basketball.

The better you argue the conversation points, the better you get to know the true merits and strengths of your team. It makes their success all the more enjoyable and satisfying. Just don't allow yourself to sink to silly name calling like the knuckle dragging, moonshine drinking, cousin kissing Mizzou fans.

As an Iowa State fan, I naturally dislike KU fans. But Twocoach actually has more intelligence than most Cyclone fans on this board. Just because someone has a different opinion, doesn't mean they are automatically wrong. Use some logic folks!

I don't hate Kansas, I love playing them. I love they are in this conference. I like their fans and their team. I think they get a lot of calls and are babied by the conference, but they have scoreboard, have for 10 years, if we don't like them winning, then we need to beat them.

I guess the program has made it based on the increase in KU trolls and Iowa fans trolling during their own game.

Thanks for telling us what we already know but making it sound like you're graciously giving pearls of wisdom to the unwashed. Oh kind sage tell us the way since you have come down from the mountain of KU basketball to enlighten those who have not had the fortune to be KU fans.

This is the point. Your behavior has caused people to stop listening to what you have to say, which is by definition poor debate.

That's like blaming the fan in the stands for Marcus Smart's actions last night. If people cannot keep their concentration on the topic at hand even when confronted then that is their problem.

Oviously many people do NOT know it based on the number of brainless responses of lame childish personal putdowns.
