Anyone else still waiting on State of Iowa Tax refunds? I filed on April 14th or 15th with the direct deposit option and not sign of money yet?

Can't recall how long mine took off hand but I believe the Iowa refunds are generally deposited in 4-6 weeks. Slower than Federal

The State of Iowa was actually faster for me this year than in years past. Less than 4 weeks.
It's always convenient how much longer it takes to pay out vs cash the checks in anything like this.
My check was dated 3-4 and deposited 3-14.

This is a joke regarding the IRS and not the State Dept. of Revenue, but it always makes me laugh:

We had to pay; they received my check on April 29th and still haven't cashed it. I'm just waiting for something in the mail that says I didn't send it on time. Fortunately, I added tracking the the envelope, so I have proof of them receiving it.

same with me. sent in April 30 and still not cashed. maybe the state doesn't need the money
Hey buddy, I’ve got a tip on a really good investment I’d like to fill you in on.
I didn't pay close attention, but I filed at the end of March (about 2 weeks before you) and it was 3-4 weeks before I saw the direct deposit come through.
I guess I'm not surprised that wait times closer to the deadline would take a little longer to process.
The 'where's my refund' link already posted is helpful to let you know that at least they are working on it, LOL.
I filed first week of April still no state refund. Fed was here in like 10 days.
What this thread has showed, there is on consistency in when the returns are sent from either fed or state.
But make damn sure you send yours on time or you will be sorry, and if you have to pay an adjustment, you have 2 weeks or else.
Just another horribly managed Government process/program.
