That's interesting about the potential of building a 5 to 6 story building directly behind (I'd assume) the Jacobson building. I think it would help "close in" that part of the endzone.

Anyone want to post this in writing? Please and thanks!

Iowa State is sitting on a pile of cash, so money will not be an issue. Doesn't think Campbell will be interested in any job away from his roots (maybe Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame). Thinks Campbell wants to build a Kansas State type legacy.

What pile of cash is that? I thought that we were spending just about every cent of our revenue?

I remember reading something where Pollard mentioned building a concourse to connect the east and west on the north side and that it would be incorporated into offices.

He mentions ISU has some 4 star recruits, am I missing something? Wonder if he mean't 3 stars.

As far as I can tell, the only "pile of cash" the AD has at this point is a $12MM reserve fund. Maybe they have large donations in the pipeline?

On the other hand, who's to say how well connected Sage is with ISU finances. It might have just been an assumption.

That would be outstanding. I think it would really finish off the look of the stadium.

Said that the BIGXII isn’t that tough of a conference and there’s phony teams like Taco-tech. Said Campbell recognizes this and is bringing a blue collar smash your opponent, disciplined football mentality to the BIGXII.

We have 3 NFL receivers, and NFL running back and an NFL Lima.

Our QB doesn’t have amazing athleticism or a big arm, but he’s smart, can read defenses and delivers the ball where it needs to be for the receivers to make a play on it.

Recruiting is better than its ever been and that more talented guys are piling on the ISU football bandwagon.

Sage also said ISU paying Campbell is not a problem, that ISU is sitting on a “big pile of cash”.

ISU has a plan to move all football facilities to the stadium and build a 5 or 6 story structure in the north end zone.

Holy **** guys, were going to have a lot of fun through the years with Campbell at the helm.

Don't know but "pile of cash" was his exact words. Of course a pile of cash at ISU would probably be considered an ant hill at Texas.

I can imagine Pollard just handing out a 10-spot at a time, whenever Campbell asks.

This would be fantastic. I was hoping the next big project was to renovate and add on to the press box. That's the only thing IMO that is holding Jack Trice Stadium back from having that big time stadium feel to it
