Better stock up on Tab now before it’s too late and I can’t afford it
And get yourself a case of Stoli. Then you'll be ready for any "Scrooged" marathon.

If you do that, the price of what you do drink will go up.Stop drinking pop. Problem solved.
I used to be a soda/pop fan and amazed myself when I found I liked good coffee and iced tea (especially mint and lemon in Green tea).Stop drinking pop. Problem solved.
It's now reaching comical levels. This whole thread was either about soda being unhealthy, better deals elsewhere, or alternatives to soda. Just recently, I did a personal review of items I purchase. Every single one of them has been hit by inflation or availability. Every one! That's a tax on every person in this country. And I might add a very large jump in tax. Those well off can brush this off, but those struggling will feel a greater impact. Sadly, worse things are yet to come. BTW, I can brush these off, but I feel for those who can't.
Ive been told by several media outlets that the economy is in good standing order and that inflation hasnt caused any issues.Sorry, pop.
It seemed like soda pop always had a 3 or 4 for $12 deal on 12 packs. I've seen it once in the last five months. Spent a couple weeks in Arizona recently, same thing. I previously lived there and the same deals were to be had.
12 packs at the store are $6 or $7, putting the price over $0.50/can. It used to be quite easy to find it for $0.33/can or less. What's going on in soda pop land?
Right, that pizza ain't cheapI spent $25+ on a large Happy Joes Special the other day. They have to be turning a profit on that!
TXcyclone. Care to comment on 'why' you think this is dumb? Especially, since it hits every one. It's now reaching comical levels. What is your source for your comments? I ask because I'm not seeing your statements confirmed in the most recent jobs report. Certainly not to the extent that inflation has gone up.He probably thought it was dumb because of your underlying political tones in a thread about soda. He might have also thought it was dumb because even though inflation has caused prices to go up, wages have also gone up. If you aren't making more than you were before this round of inflation started it's because you are choosing not to. Everyone is hiring and starting wages are through the roof.

So, I like Pepsi over Coke.

Yes we can, now you better be a Barqs rootbeer guy over Mug.Could we both agree on Royal Crown?
Not necessarily. I quit drinking pop a long time ago due to what it was doing to my stomach, and now it's 95% water (out of my 5 gallon dispenser) and about 5% Gatorade Zero.
What else am I supposed to drink my Captain with?Stop drinking pop. Problem solved.
