Sure do, then he can get a big snowblower and blow it onto the other neighbors yard, it's the circle of life. And if you're honest, you really enjoy being able to throw light snow across the street onto you neighbor's snowpile
Toro snowblowers are made in Windham, MN, and I can assure you that they are not made by MTD.
I think this is what I have: Toro - Homeowner Snowblowers
I've never had to do this with my Toro. Even with the wettest, heaviest snow I've never had one clog.
Yeah they are expensive, but I'm pretty sure I could get back what I paid for it today, even after two seasons of pretty heavy use.
The freewheel steering is AWESOME. I don't know how people use snowblowers that don't have that feature. That and the chute control stick alone make the blower worth buying, IMO.
Am I turning into a Toro fanboi?
Guess you were wrong weren't you? If you look up parts, it is a better indication of who makes what.
The facts seem to say otherwise. My BIL works at the plant where they make them. I'm pretty sure they aren't made by MTD.
Toro snowblowers are NOT made by MTD - at least the 2 stage ones.

SOME of the lower ones ARE made by MTD...Your BIL DOESN'T WORK AT EVERY TORO PLANT, DOES HE?
How about the poster who said his MTD had a TORO label on its bottom? " My MTD lawn tractor is a toro, literally. If you life the seat there's a specs sticker that has Toro right on it. I think it's Toro, either Toro or Troy-Bilt. "
You might not know everything about this subject afterall, just because your BIL works at ONE Toro plant.

This is what I was referring to. We were always talking about snowblowers. No 2-stage Toro snowblowers, and I don't think any single stage ones either, are made by MTD.
I need to stop viewing posts from people on my ignore list. YES just ignore your own responses Where was it that 2 stage Toro blowers were brought up being made by MTD, HUH?
Do I need to ignore your idiotic 2 stage hangup?
I think if you look deeper into this, you will find that many, many brands of lawn tractors, even some John Deere models , and snow blowers are made in the same factory....MTD, just to different specs. Looking for parts, found this out .
